In our house, a video game party is the best type of party. For my oldest son's 6th and 8th birthdays, we rented a spot at a park and hired Game Truck to come. My youngest son's birthday is in December so an outdoor party wasn't ideal so we had Game Truck come to our house. Since we have an unfinished basement, I turned it into the party room and that's where the 25 kids had pizza and cake. The nice thing was that the kids spent 2 hours in the Game Truck and the parents hung out in the kitchen enjoying wine and the food my mother-in-law prepared.
